What is an Undermount Drawer Glides

As opposed to sidemount drawer glides, undermount drawer glides are installed underneath the drawer. They are sold in pairs and mounted to the sixes of the cabinets while connecting with a locking device on the underside of the drawer. While you can see a sidemount glide when the drawer is open, undermount glides are not visible. Traditionally, undermount drawer glides are no more than 5/8" thick, and space from underside of drawer bottom to bottom of drawer glides must be 1/2". This is a good option if you're looking to improve the aesthetics of your cabinetry by hiding the side mounts from view.
