What is a Reveal

A reveal is a recess or groove that can be cut into the edge of a piece of wood. A reveal can normally be found at the edge of a door, cabinet or a window. The point of a reveal is to expose the edge of the wood. A portion of the cabinet, door or window can be seen. A reveal occurs when there is slight space between cabinet doors that allows the cabinet's frame to be viewable. These fit more traditional style rooms, kitchens, and homes.
